Our Story
Staun Tyre Deflators has been making automatic tire deflators in Queensland, Australia since 1998. Long before "airing down" was common conversation in the US off-road community, Staun set out to solve one problem: getting all four tyres to the exact same pressure, without crouching over each valve with a gauge, guessing, and rechecking.
The idea is mechanically simple and the execution is not: a deflator you set once to a target PSI, screw onto a valve stem, and walk away from. It stops releasing air automatically at exactly the pressure you set — every tyre, every time.
Made and Checked by Hand, Not Assembled Offshore in Batch
Every set of Staun Tyre Deflators is precision made and individually quality-control checked by a technician at the Staun facility in Queensland, Australia. Not mass-assembled and inspected in batch elsewhere — checked by hand, one set at a time, before it reaches you. That is what more than two decades of the same standard looks like.
Today Staun makes four ranges — Standard Range, Quickset with a built-in precision gauge, High Range for heavier vehicles, and Low Range for rock crawlers running beadlocks at very low pressures — so whatever you're airing down, there's a Staun set built for that exact range.
